Crafting Achievements and Relic Tools (Splendorous)

This guide will show you how to obtain the rare Crafting Tools obtained by completing objectives in your Achievements Log. These are special Tools that feature glowing particle effects that can be Glamoured onto your Crafter Main Hand. 

Crafter Class Level 100 with BiS Gear

Manipulation Unlocked

  • You will need to have your Crafter Class Quests completed to have the Manipulation Action unlocked
  • The Crafting Macro for the Resplendent Tools requires Manipulation

1 Million Gil

  • You will need some starting gil of you are buying materials from the Market Board
  • Check out our Gil Service if you need funds for the journey
  • It's strongly advised to use universalis.app to check the Market Board prices for all Worlds on your Data Center, it will save you a lot of gil in the long run

Unlocked Collectables

  • You will need access to the Collectables Vendor and Scrip Exchange to acquire starting materials for Resplendent Tools without buying them from the Market Board
  • Soul of the Crafter for changing Specialist can also be purchased from the Scrip Exchange

Blessed Crafting Tools (Level 60 & 70)

The 2 Blessed Relic Crafting Achievement Tools that will be outlined here are from:

  • I Made That V – Level 60
  • I Made That VI – Level 70

To complete I Made That V and VI, you simply need to crafting the designated number of unique Recipes from the Level-Based and Housing pages of the Crafting Log. Each successfully crafted item will be marked to help you keep track of things.

Crafting as a Service can be used to build a Crafting List to help you keep track of exactly which materials you need and where to obtain them.

Universalis can also be used to search the Market Board from your web browser, allowing you to find the cheapest prices in-game using Data Center or World Visit.

With these resources, it should be fairly straightforward to work through the Level-Based and Housing Recipes to unlock the Level 60 and Level 70 Blessed Relic Crafting Tools.

Resplendent Crafting Tools (Level 80)

To Obtain the Relic Tools, we will need to complete a chain of Collectables turn-ins in order to obtain the 60 Resplendent Final Material required to exchange for the Resplendent Tool.

All hand-ins and exchanges will take place with Limbeth in Eulmore (X: 11.7, Y: 10.9) standing besides the Collectable Appraiser. All Resplendent Component Recipes can be found in the master viiiMaster Recipes VIII tab.

Resplendent Material A can be purchased from the Crafters' Scrip Exchange (Master Recipes/Materials/Misc. -> Lv. 80 Materials) or via Market Board.

  1. 30 Resplendent Material A are needed to craft 30 Resplendent Component A
  2. 60 Resplendent Material B are needed to craft 30 Resplendent Component B
  3. 60 Resplendent Material C are needed to craft 30 Resplendent Component C
  4. 30 Resplendent Component C at Max Collectability can be exchanged for 60 Resplendent Final Material.
  5. 60 Resplendent Final Material exchanged for Resplendent Tool

At each stage, you will be required to hand in 1 Resplendent Component in exchange for 2 Resplendent Material. Anything less than the highest tier of required Collectability will require twice as many hand-ins to receive the same number of Resplendent Material from Limbeth. It is safe to begin the process with roughly 30 Resplendent Material A, as the final stage is somewhat less reliable.

Resplendent Component A-C Macro

Simply repeat the process with as many Classes as you like to obtain the Resplendent Tool for each Crafter.

Splendorous Crafting Tools (Level 90)

Firstly, you will need to have unlocked Crystarium Deliveries by completing feature questThe Crystalline Mean by speaking to Katliss in The Crystarium (X: 11 Y: 8.5) as well as unlocked the Collectables NPC's if you have not done so already.

Speak to Chora-Zoi in the Crystarium (X: 7.8 Y: 11.4) to complete the quest feature questAn Original Improvement. You'll be rewarded with a splendorous cofferSplendorous Coffer that will contain the Tool for your current class when opened. Subsequent Tools will need to be bought from Quinnana in the Crystarium (X: 10.4 Y: 7.7) for purple crafters' scrip1,500.

Step 1: Augmented Splendorous Tool

With the Splenderous Tool for your class equipped or in your inventory, speak to Chora-Zoi to begin the quest repeatable feature questA Dedicated Tool.

You'll be tasked with crafting some new recipes that can be found under Crafting Log -> Special Recipes tab -> Sidequests -> Splenderous Tools.

Materials for all steps can be gathered, bought from Quinnana for purple crafters' scripPurple Crafter's Scrips or simply bought from the Market Board. Be sure to use universalis.app if sourcing your materials from the Market Board.

This step will require 20 crafts with Max Collectability, hand them in to Quinnana to receive the 60 splendorous componentSplenderous Components to complete the quest.

You will need your Splenderous Tool equipped to craft the recipes.

Use trained eyeTrained Eye to craft the recipes.
